<Poem>
清時有味是無能，
閒愛孤雲靜愛僧。
欲把一麾江海去，
樂遊原上望昭陵。

<Translation>
In these peaceful times there is much to enjoy
for those with little talent,
Relishing lonely clouds at leisure
and monkish ways at peace.
Now I’m hoisting my banner and crossing the waters
to take up an assignment;
But first I will gaze at the Shaoling tomb
from up in the Pleasure Gardens.
